Indirect Conservation icon  Fundraising
The EAZA population of Eld’s deer thamin can be used to raise funds for conservation efforts in Cambodia for the Siamese Eld’s deer (Rucervus eldii siamensis).

 Technical support
The experience with managing the Rucervus eldii thamin population EEP and studbook can be shared for the ex situ management of the Rucervus eldii siamensis. Furthermore technical and financial support can be given to work towards reintroducing individuals from the in range ex situ populations if needed.

In July 2023, the Moose EEP had 215 animals in 13 institutions.
