Direct Conservation icon  Research
Stimulate and catalyse more field work to clarify and monitor the situation of the species in the wild across its range with a focus on population numbers, adaptation, and climate change.

Create fascination for an impressive looking 'remnant of the ice age' with unique adaptations for life in an arctic climate.

Programme highlights

  • Zooquaria issue 111 (spring 2021) has an article featuring the Caprinea TAG. You can read the article on page 14 and 15. 
  • The EAZA Caprinae TAG has a Facebook page where they regularly publish news stories about the species under the TAG. 
  • EAZA published its 2021 Annual TAG Report.
