Interesting National Parks and nature parks worth paying a visit:

National Park Risnjak

A natural bond between the Alps and the Balkan mountains. Also habitat for all three European large carnivores: bear, wolf and lynx

Plitvice Lakes National Park

Plitvice Lakes is the oldest and largest national park in the Republic of Croatia. The park is primarily covered in forest vegetation, with smaller areas under grasslands. The most attractive part of the park – the lakes – cover just under 1% of the total park area.

National Park Brijuni

Archipelago reachable by ferry. Reach fauna and flora, archaeological site and small safari park

National Park Kornati and Nature Park Telaščica

Island paradise in the middle of Adriatic

National Park Krka

National Park Mljet

Trakošćan castle (Northern Croatia)

Trogir

Historic centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites for its Venetian architecture.

Split

The second-largest city of Croatia, located on Dalmatian coast. Home to Diocletian's Palace, built for the Roman emperor in AD 305.

Dubrovnik

It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea famous for old city surrounded by system of medieval fortresses and walls
