Shellshock at Cologne Zoo
Several Shellshock Campaign activities are being organised in the aquarium and the tropical house at Cologne Zoo. Several turtle and tortoise species are housed in these buildings. A Shellshock poster is presented at both locations to attract the visitors' attention. A 'touch-table' with shells, living animals and actual data from Shellshock is set up in the weekends. Volunteers are present at the touch-table to provide additional information. Additionally a turtle and tortoise quiz that also points out to the problem of turtles and tortoises being kept as pets has been developed for school classes and groups of children.Shellshock poster
