Overview of materials used for the campaign

Tiger merchandise

EAZA developed a number of items (e.g. key rings and t- shirts) which where distributed to the membership to be sold in the zoo shops, and of which the profit made would go to 21st Century Tiger.

Zoos also sold their own (tiger) merchandise to raise funds for the campaign.

Spin euro's for the tiger!
The fundraising part of the campaign has been in support of in situ tiger conservation through the contribution to 21st Century Tiger.

Several zoos have used money spinners and other original collection boxes, which had to inspire the zoo visitors to contribute to the campaign. Some examples:

Spinner Dutch Zoo Federation     Banham Zoo - 3D tiger    Collection box
                                                head money box
            Colchester Zoo

The Dutch zoos used a money spinner from a company called
Angal. With new stickers the same money spinners can be used to collect funds for future campaigns.
