EAZA Tiger Campaign 2002/4
Campaign efforts in Chester Zoo
Chester Zoo is home to two Amur Tigers - the obvious focal point for promoting a Tiger campaign!
Displays providing information on the plight of the tigers, the aims of the EAZA campaign and most importantly how to support the campaign are shown next to the tiger enclosure and the Zoo's mobile Ark for added affect.
The display will be in place for the duration of the campaign and close to the cafe and children's play area, prime dwell areas for the public.
Once the school holidays arrive, keepers will be on hand at periods during the day to talk about the campaign and promote the sale of the 21st Century keyrings, on sale in the Zoo shops.
The tiger campaign will also be promoted through the Zoo' team of presenters, who have remodelled their normal tiger talk to include the campaign.
