As of May 2010 EAZA has 327 members. This includes 282 Full Members, 6 Temporary Members and 38 Associate Members (plus two reciprocal members, ALPZA and ISIS) in 36 countries. In addition, EAZA has a number of Candidates for Membership, Honorary Members and Corporate Members.
It is estimated that more than 140 million people visit EAZA member zoos and aquariums each year, equivalent to approximately one in five European citizens.
