EAZA is prepared to assist zoos that are committed to improving their standards of animal welfare and zoo management, and are willing to become modern zoos adhering to the visions as laid down in the World Zoo and Aquarium Conservation Strategy. |

Possibly the greatest achievement of the Committee on Technical Assistance & Animal Welfare is helping previously isolated zoos to join the EAZA network; to learn and benefit from other zoos. This contact is essential, and with such a positive exchange the future of many of these zoos is bright.
