EAZA Annual Conference
Innsbruck, 26-29 September 2012

EAZA's Annual Conference in 2012 will be hosted by Alpenzoo, which is located in Innsbruck, the capital city of the federal state of Tyrol in western Austria. The conference itself will be held in Congress & Messe Innsbruck, a modern congress centre at the heart of the city.  

Registrations are now open and accommodation can be booked in a range of hotels located around the city centre.

Wireless internet access will be available free-of-charge throughout the conference venue for all delegates.

Accommodation

The conference organiser has block booked rooms in a number of hotels located around the city. See below for a customised map showing the location of the selected hotels and key conference venues.

You will be able to reserve accommodation in one of the conference hotels whilst registering for the conference using the online registration form.

Getting There 

by Train

Thanks to its central location at the heart of Europe (bordering 7 countries – Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Liechtenstein) Innsbruck is also easily accessible by train.

For example, Innsbruck railway station – just a short walk from the historical town centre and Congress Innsbruck – has good Intercity and Eurocity connections to Zurich, Munich and also Vienna:

By Air

Innsbruck airport has direct links with Amsterdam, Berlin, Bristol, Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Graz, Liverpool, London, Moscow, Rotterdam, St. Petersburg, Vienna. A full list of scheduled flights to and from Innsbruck is available for download below:

By Car

Innsbruck is easily accessible by car, with an excellent network of roads from all over Europe.

Fees

The registration fee does not include accommodation costs. Fees have been calculated to cover the costs of venue hire and set-up, lunches, coffee breaks and conference materials.

The social events (icebreaker, visit to Alpenzoo, farewell dinner) are offered courtesy of Alpenzoo. Accompanying partners may attend these social events for an additional fee (see below), to be paid during the registration process. EAZA Members and partners are welcome to visit Alpenzoo freely at any time during the event.

*The "early bird" rate is available only to EAZA members and members of WAZA-affiliated regional associations as well as members of organisations with which EAZA has a formal liaison.

Payments can be made online via credit card, or alternatively by direct bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations received by August 20, 2012 payments will be refunded minus bank charges and a handling fee of € 50.- For cancellations received after August 20, 2012 no refunds will be made.

Please note that - for organisational reasons - all refunds will be processed after the meeting.
