 ZOOQUARIA

Zooquaria, formerly known as EAZA NEWS, is published four times a year and is filled with news reports, feature articles and opinion pieces covering the wide spectrum of issues facing zoos and aquariums today.

If you would like to be notified by email when a new issue of Zooquaria is available for download, please send a message to: info@eaza.net

For EAZA member institutions wishing to receive additional paper copies of the magazine the following rates apply:

1 subscription (i.e. four issues) €20,00 (per subscription)
2-9 subscriptions €17,50 (per subscription)
10-19 subscriptions €15,00 (per subscription)
20-29 subscriptions €12,50 (per subscription)
>30 subscriptions  €10,00 (per subscription)

The subscription fee for non-EAZA members is:

Netherlands €20,00 (per subscription, i.e. four issues)
Rest of Europe €25,00 (per subscription)
Rest of the world €30,00 (per subscription)

Subscription fees cover the cost of postage and administration.

Advertise

A copy of Zooquaria is sent to all EAZA members and to many zoos and aquariums in other parts of the world (USA, Australia, Japan and others) as well as to other people with a professional interest in zoos. The total number of copies circulated currently stands at 1,000 copies. Zooquaria is also made available for download as a PDF, thus reaching an even wider audience.

Zooquaria is an essential source of information for EAZA member institutions, reaching Directors, CEOs, curators, keepers, vets, marketers and educators. All of this adds up to a unique opportunity to directly target the decision makers in Europe’s zoos and aquariums.

Contribute

The editorial board of Zooquaria welcomes article submissions on recent or planned openings of new exhibits, on significant births and hatchings, on important conservation activities, etc. Submissions are welcome from EAZA members and non-members alike. The editorial board cannot guarantee publication, but will consider each article submitted.

If you are planning to submit an article for Zooquaria please first read the Guidelines for Contributors. For more general guidelines on use of language, grammar, spellings and punctuation please consult the Style Guide.

Births and Hatchings
If you would like to submit information relating to Births and/or Hatchings, please also read the Births and Hatchings Guidelines.

Letters
If you would like to comment on any article or feature in Zooquaria, you may consider doing so in the form of a letter to the editor. Not all letters received will be published and those that are published may be edited for length. The decisions of the editorial board in such matters will be final. Letters should be sent to malcolm.tait@eaza.net, with a copy to eoghan.osullivan@eaza.net.
